Growing up in Cleveland with my mom and my brother, we were always finding ways to burn energy. We moved to Cleveland in 1998 and automatically started exploring. As a single mom, my mom often looked for activities outdoors that were cost effective and fun for the whole family. Some of my best childhood memories are in Ocoee, Tennessee. On one hand, I feel so grateful for each and every encounter of a person that cares about us and cares to be a customer at our business. Let's Go to the Airport: Travel Tips

To limit the amount of plastic in landfills, take an empty reusable water bottle, such as a Camelbak Chute or Eddy, with you. Once you have gone through airport security, fill it up at a water fountain. Save up, plan it out, make memories. We've only got one life to live - live adventurously.

Hiking Close to Home: for Beginners and Intermediates

The epicenter for outdoor activity in southeast Tennessee is only a short, twenty-minute drive from Lee University. Chilhowee Mountain begins at the base of Parksville Lake, fed by the Ocoee River. My Favorite Back-Packing Meals

Everybody has their go to foods when the hit the trail.  I have seen people pack in steaks and gourmet meals fit for kings, but I could never jump on that bandwagon.  I always want to travel as light as possible and prepare my meals as quick as possible.  While a hot meal is appreciated at the end of a long day in the back country it does not necessarily mean that it has to be complicated.  As well, granola bars and jerky get old fast.  Here's a couple quick and easy meal ideas that I have with me when I'm on the trail.  1.
